A short notice

I often get thoughts that lead me to thinking: “Wow, that would be a great thing to get of my mind and share with everyone”

Unfortunately, I have forgot those thoughts right now and instead can only remember what really matters anyway which is the real life. This January  and February turned out to be very productive social and experience wise. After heading home from a nice Christmas holiday with my family, I first celebrated my birth day on January 3rd with a small party at our house. Shortly hereafter, school started again and everyday life moved on into its daily schedule.

To spice things up a little, I went on a ski trip to Mt. Bachelor for a weekend and later on one day trips to Willamette Pass.

One of my very greatest experiences in the US so far, however, came quite unexpected at a Fulbright enrichment seminar in Washington, DC. Before going I had been building up excitement about seeing Washington but haven’t really put much thought into the seminar itself. Fortunately, everything pretty much blew me away. There was about a 100 Fulbrighters, representing 85 different nationalities. Everyone were nice, intelligent and had exciting stories to tell. It was simply a gathering of really inspiring, interesting and generally awesome people. It is difficult to explain but it was very, very special and something I will never forget.

The two month recap is over, now for some pictures (others can be found on my Facebook even though I feel a little paranoid about Facebook but that is another discussion). I will probably start writing more on my blog again since some events happened in my life that I will not share on this site — the point is that I have (a little) more time now…
